Job Description

    Job Duties & responsibilities Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions across Banking applications. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing automation strategies. Plan the technology roadmap with an execution plan around it, the technology roadmap will not cover the future technologies, but, also cover the replacement of current set of applications Design and build enterprise applications for solutions which are used across multiple application (and hence multiple business teams) Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. Be the primary point of contact and relationship manager for the local business, support unit, country and other technology/operations leaders Payment systems Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance the local technology team. This will include responsibility for hiring, training and performance management, change management, release management && problem management. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports. Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Managing competing resources and priorities. Managing IT projects / enhancements priorities and costs with stakeholders Mapping project timeline and path to execution Create suitable budgets and schedules. Financial management of project in terms of tracking actuals v/s budget Manage the project by tracking budget and resource allocation Track projects and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget Preparation of project communication materials including status update and steering committee presentations Monitor all project deliverables and dependencies Business requirements analysis on Asia specific trading operation and work with vendors and in-house developers to deploy, upgrade and enhance systems Manage systems implementation and upgrade projects by liaising with system vendors on all related tasks Co-ordinate system implementation, upgrade and enhancements as well as UAT testing Prepare application system flow, operation and user documentationsRequired Experience Thorough knowledge of banking domain including Digital Channels, Payments, Collections, Trade, Core banking, Retail banking Experience in regulatory reporting projects would be a huge plus. Designed, developed and enhanced various banking, business and technical applications like SFMS, RTGS, NEFT, CTS, NACH, UPI, IMPS, MUREX, IMEX, Cash management, Trade finance, lending products, e-payments, and regulatory reporting systems. Experience of successfully facing off to senior business leaders Minimum 10-12 Years of experience in Information Technology with minimum 5 years experience in Payment Systems application at least 2 Years experience in development of software preferably in a Financial Service Industry.Regional working experience 2-5 years (preferred) Wide knowledge of current and future trends in business and technology environment. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users. Education / Preferred QualificationsTechnology, Engineering or IT Bachelors degree. Technical Competencies Strong knowledge in Project Management in software && integrations (APIs, Microservices, MQ, HTTPS, SWIFT, Indian Payments e.g. UPI, BHIM, RuPAY, IMPS, NACH, NEFT, RTGS, SFMS etc,) Knowledge of agile/scrum, waterfall Project Management Experience of handling host to host connectivity with multiple ecosystem players will be useful Hands on project management tools (JIRA) Personal skills Possess Strong problem solving, analytical skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks && prioritize accordingly. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, trouble shoot, and problem solve with clients throughout the implementation process. Strong inter-personal && negotiation skills in dealing with HO and department users Medium to large team people management Excellent relationship building and networking skills Additional skills Self-Motivator and team player Excellent documentation skills.
