Candidate Profile:
  • Male candidates preferred as job would involve some amount of outdoor work for coordinating with vendors; (Would have to travel to Hyderabad for coordination with Commercial Head and Plant)
  • Preferred BSc / Degree or Diploma Chemical Engg with min. 5 years experience in BULK / RAW MATERIALS purchase in chemical or related process industries
  • Other Graduates with relevant experience in chemicals sector can also be considered on merit
  • Good knowledge of chemical Industries, including supplier profiles, locations, commercial terms, etc
  • Should have handled purchase of bulk chemicals / raw materials
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good negotiation abilities - comparing the price chart, obtain good credit period for payments to suppliers, etc
  • Able to execute all activities independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and internet
  • Ability to analyse quotations and generate and create MIS reports
Responsibilities:
  • Would coordinate with vendors / suppliers as well as assist in direct procurement and price negotiations
  • Coordination with Plant, Logistic department, Suppliers, Transporters, other internal and external customers
  • Approving of vendors bills after comparing with Annual Contracts, coordinate for Payments, generating and updating all records
  • Informing the status day to day to the management
  • Assisting in making MIS reports for management
