JobDescription : The Segment: S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC Grade: 9A The Location: MumbaiThe Role: QA Associate/DMThe Team: The Data Management team is responsible for the maintenance and operations of SPDJI s Golden Database (GDB). The team manages workflows and operational validations in GDB on data quality and maintenance. The DM team is a part of the QA team which has members in New York , Beijing and Mexico City.The Impact: This position will be responsible for assisting the Data Management team operationally with daily maintenance and validation operations , including configurations of indices/files in GDB and management of workflows for data history migrations. This position will be based in Mumbai to help support our NY and Beijing teams.What s in it for you: Relatively young team especially in this region , which will allow for growth opportunities. The nature of the role will provide exposure to many aspects of SPDJI operations and marketing teams. The individual will be relied upon to be the point person in the region for queries for the team This position will provide a close working relationship with regional colleagues (Mumbai) , global team members (Beijing & Mexico City) , as well as management in New York (global headquarters). Responsibilities: As a member of the global QA team , responsibilities will be:Review daily reports and work with necessary teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Manage workflows in GDB for data history migrations. Support processes primarily run out of NY & Beijing. What We re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: A Post Graduate with 3 - 5 years of working experience with finance background (Equity & Fixed Income).Preferred Qualifications: Data management experience. Python , Excel working knowledge. Strong Communication skills. Independent & self - motivated.
