Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesWe are currently looking for highly motivated Computer Science Grads, who areexecution-focused and want to work on challenging problems. As an Automation Engineer,you would be thinking of out of the box and creative solutions to build complex flows.Some typical things that youd be doing in automation are:Scrape data from websites with sophisticated anti-scraping measures.Process information from different platforms and tools, and create reports that canbe used by managers to keep track of the different initiatives/experiments in thecompanyCreate plug-n-play modules for common functionalities that can be integrated withvery little effortMaking systems smarter so that they can detect issues early on and inform theright people before anything major goes wrongWe do all of the above and more by using the following tools and technologies:Django framework built on PythonAWS EC2 and RDSNginx, Gunicorn and SupervisorPostgresql and RedisCelery, CRON jobsSelenium and Beautiful SoupGithubJiraGoogle SheetsRequirementsExperience : 6 months - 2 YearsMust-HaveProblem solving ability with a knack for figuring out possible edge casesLogical thinking and a history of writing basic algorithmsConfidence to be open and ask for help when neededBasic communication skillsExperience with Python developmentGood to HavePrior Web scraping experienceUnderstanding of databases, REST Apis and deploymentHigh level of ownership
