We face off to the business and support services to develop and oversee the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the enterprise. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Global Capital Markets, Operations, Finance, and Legal & Compliance. We are responsible for Pioneer and Application Infrastructure, groups that look to develop foundational strategies, tools and technologies that are leveraged across Tech & Data, as well as standardized data and enterprise-wide services to provide leverage to the Firms businesses. Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding the internal architecture of groups of application within the Practice Area Group (PAG) and also that of the dependent application.Working with IT colleagues globally across a number of front / middle / back-end systems and teams.Involvement in the full development lifecycle of the project.Introduction of new technologies, frameworks, techniques and standards.This role represents an excellent opportunity to learn an exciting and complex business area. The successful candidate will be commercially focused, have excellent communication skills, will be able to demonstrate a strong delivery track record, and will be capable of pragmatically balancing time to market against future-proofed technologies and design. A keen interest in the latest development tools and technologies is also expected, particularly in the area monitoring/alerting/automation. The successful candidate will have a First or Upper Second Class degree in Computer Science or similar. Equity Derivatives Product Knowledge is not a pre-requisite, although it is advantageous., * Skills5-7 years of Relevant Experience working on following skills -Skills Required- Must be able to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing business and technical environment. - Strong in integration concepts. - Strong in Python/Shell Scripting/Linux/DB (Sybase and DB2). - Strong in analytical skills. - XML/SOAP - Strong in Unix/Linux OS concepts. - Must be familiar with code management tools such as GitHub. - Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins - Good verbal & written skills. - Proven ability to work in a high pressure environment. - Should be able to handle multiple projects.Skills Desired- PubSub/VCS/Autosys/AFS/TCP-IP - Agile software development experience, preferably Scrum - Equity Derivatives product knowledge - Java - Experience of working on Electronic Trading system under Equity Derivatives domain - GUI automation testing using tools like Selenium
