Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the software industry
  • BE/BTech/MCA/BS preferably with a strong curriculum in Computer Sciences
  • ISTQB Certification will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with the process and better understanding in SDLC, STLC, Agile-Scrum
  • Ability to plan test schedules or strategies by project scope or delivery dates
  • Experience in creating test deliverables such as Test Strategies, Test scenarios, metrics, and automation test scripts
  • Experience in using testing tools for load, performance, etc. is preferable
  • Good experience in document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers and project managers
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
  • Motivated to develop high-quality code and proven testing skills and strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies

Responsibilities:

  • The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the product quality through the planning and execution of product testing, and/or process/product standards compliance
  • The position demands direct involvement in manual test efforts, developing and managing compliance to standards for process or product quality
  • The individual will be directly working with India the US-based product teams and needs to demonstrate the ability to collaborate and influence on a global basis for the right quality engineering decisions
  • The individual is responsible for bringing in technical skills in quality engineering to develop a high-quality product
