Job Description

    We have an urgent opening for the position of QA Software Tester for a leading Company for the Ahmedabad/Mumbai location.Responsibilities:Analyzing user stories/ use cases/requirements to generate test cases and test scripts.Design and develop automation scriptsCreate logs to document testing phases and defects. Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)Carry out functional testing, performance testing, and scalability testing.Report bugs and errors to development teams.Analyze test results and track software testing metrics. Prepare and present test reports.Help troubleshoot issuesWork with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycleConstantly be on the lookout for ways to improve the system, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customerImplementing automated testing platforms and unit testsUnderstanding accessibility and security complianceRequirements:4 - 6 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar roleFamiliarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plusExperience in Preparation, execution & review of test cases.Comfortable with Manual Testing / Automation Tools. Knowledge of test management software (e.g. Selenium, Jmeter, Appium SoapUI, Maven, Zephyr) and MySQL.Attention to detail, analytical mind, problem-solving aptitude, and strong organizational skills.Knowledge of at least one programming/ scripting language. Should have experience in moving manual testing process to automationAn ideal candidate would be able to quickly understand requirements & independently work on it & have the ability to communicate effectively to identify, troubleshoot, and document issues.Having expertise in Testing of Web applications, APIs, and mobile apps using Manual & automated Testing procedures.Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).Skilled in Functional, Integration, Regression, and Stress testing.Used JIRA or equivalent tools as defect tracking tools.Experience in working with open-source tools for API, security, and load will be a plus.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related disciplineKnowledge and experience adhering to software development life cycle best practices including test-driven development (TDD), unit testing discipline, agile development, and CI/CD strategies.A track record of forging strong relationships and building trusted partnerships through open dialogue and continuous deliveryDomain expertise in the BFSI domain (more specifically Supply Chain Financing, dynamic discounting) is a plusWilling to embrace work outside of your comfort zone, and open to guidance from others; you make mistakes, but learn from them.Keen to learn about new technologies and business innovations across the industryKeen to work in a dynamic fast-paced startup environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills Education:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or any related field requiredPost Graduate in Computer Science or any related field would be a plus
