JobDescription : The Segment: S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC Grade: 9A The Location: MumbaiThe Role: QA Data SpecialistThe Team: The QA team creates, performs and validates data produced and published by SPDJI s Index Production group (IMPG). Our team acts as an independent source for data verification that spans multiple asset classes globally (currently NY, Mexico City & Beijing). What s in it for you: Relatively young team especially in this region which will allow for growth opportunities. The nature of the role will provide exposure to many aspects of SPDJI operations and will be relied upon to be the QA point person in the region. This position will provide a close working relationship with regional colleagues (Mumbai), global QA team members (Beijing & Mexico City), as well as management in New York (global headquarters). Responsibilities: As a member of the global QA team, responsibilities will be:Run daily QA checks. Perform QA on all re balances (Equity & Fixed Income indices) Maintaining/ Updating existing QA checks used by Global Index Production teams. Support processes primarily run out of NY & Beijing. What We re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: A Post Graduate with 2-5 years of working experience with finance background (Equity & Fixed Income). Preferred Qualifications: Programming background, Java, Matlab, Access Strong Communication skills. Independent & self-motivated.
