Job Description

  • Participate in overall infrastructure design strategy and on going maintenance of the Qlik suite of products QlikView QlikSense and NPrinting
  • Work closely with other technology teams for the deployment configuration system support of multiple services across an expansive and diverse technology environment
  • Install configure and upgrade QlikSense QlikView Server and other 3rd Party tools
  • Analyze Windows Event logs and QlikSense QlikView Server log files to troubleshoot and solve issues
  • Identify potential solutions to resolve and prevent service interruptions
  • Administer maintain access to QlikSense Qlikview Management Console for document administrators
  • Pro actively monitor the QlikSense QlikView environment to ensure performance on the servers
  • Perform load regression testing on dashboards where needed Manage migration of QLIK objects between Development QA and Production environments
  • Define best practices and governance for QlikSense QlikView deployments
  • Mentor developers and provide technical documentation developer guides and assist in trouble shooting
  • Participate in the design reviews to ensure conformance to design certification standards
  • Participate and support in house developed applications running on Windows Server 2012 2016
  • Effectively communicate with client teams and internal team
  • Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or similar experience
  • At least 3 years combined QlikView Qliksense experience including design development installation configuration data management administration and support
  • Advanced SQL capabilities are required
  • Knowledge of database design techniques
  • Experience working with extremely large data volumes is a plus
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing methodologies ETL processing and dimensional data modeling
  • Awareness of Hadoop Hive tables
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience utilizing QlikSense Qlikview scheduling task administration and security capabilities
  • Working knowledge of establishing QlikSense Qlikview Connectors for relational database platforms like MS SQL Server or Hadoop
