Job Description

  • As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Wireless, you will have the opportunity to work closely with both hardware and software design teams to come up with test requirements and specifications.
  • You will lead a team of QA engineers to plan/execute tests to validate several large feature areas.
  • You will be developing automated test suites to benchmark performance of wireless products and calibrate tools using object oriented programming.
  • Your participation and feedback to design teams will help in the build process of new product development phases.
,BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years of work experience in wireless testing domain
  • Hands-On experience in Test Automation for testing networking devices in Python
  • Experience in black and grey box functional testing of WIFI products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master s degree in CS, CE or EE and 4+ years of experience in wireless QA
  • Hands-on experience in testing Linux-based embedded networking devices
  • Industry experience testing embedded WIFI and BT products and protocols (WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac products, BT/BLE products/chips etc.)
  • Hands-on experience and proficiency in automation either using or building a test automation framework in Python
  • Experience is using network analyzers and tools like AirMagnet, AirPcap, WireShark, Omnipeek, QXDM etc.
  • Experience in setting up complex conducted and over-the-air test environments for WIFI and BT testing
  • Experience in leading a team of engineers to do end-to-end testing of wireless networking devices
  • Good knowledge of Software development lifecycle and QA test processes
