Job Description

Must have 2 to 4 years experience in Testing

  • Must have minimum 2Yrs experience on Automation using Selenium
  • Must have minimum 2Yrs experience on webservices testing using API UI tool
  • Must have experience in writing code in Java.
  • Must have experience in Agile methodology, JIRA tool
  • Must have experience with global companies in onshore/offshore model
  • Must have experience in Windows and cloud based test environments
  • Must have experience in working on tools: Selenium, Jira, Toad OR SQL developer, SOAP UI, JMeter, Maven, Ant, Auto IT, Winium, Test NG
  • Good to have experience in creating Virtual Machines
  • Good to have knowledge on Performance testing with tools like Jmeter
  • Good to have exposure to product based companies
  • Good to have certification in CSTE or ISTQB
  • Domain experience infrastructure monitoring is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Analytical skills, adaptive to changes, positive thinker
  • Capable of working under pressure, Good Team Player
  • Flexibility to adapt to different functional domain areas
    • Responsibilities
    • Test automation experience in identifying the right tool
    • Customize frameworks
    • Resolve all technical challenges with respect to the application under test
    • Coordinate with internal and functional SMEs to get the right inputs for test automation
    • Attend meetings with client and share periodic status reports
    • Analyse the Epics, User Stories
    • Effort estimation with planning poker, historical data
    • Create a list of questions seek clarifications from Product owners/Business teams/clients
    • Clear all the assumptions understand user acceptance criteria not just the specified requirements
    • Understand the application under test, scope of the work co ordinate with stakeholders
    • Design Automation Test Plan, Automation Test Strategy, end to end Test Scenarios, Automated Test Cases
    • Execute Test cases end to end scenarios at multiple levels of testing - System, Integration, User acceptance, regression etc.
    • Database testing, File validation testing, Batch Jobs testing, API Testing, Webservices testing, Testing SOAP, REST protocols
    • Create reuse test data, Web based desktop based applications testing
    • Implement Root cause analysis, Risk based testing
    • Review test artefacts
    • Prepare test closure report, report project progress to stakeholders
    • Suggest process improvements
