Job Description

The Quantitative Developer is part of a specific equity based investment strategy. The Quantitative Developer will be responsible for the development of the research infrastructure for the strategy. This role involves understanding various aspects of investment management like generation of trades,portfolio construction, risk analysis, performance analysis and environment analysis.The responsibilities will include the following:

  • Build systems and analytics to develop and test trading strategies and ideas.
  • Optimize queries and stored procedures currently used in the research process
  • Manage replication of database across different environments.
  • Responsible for execution and trading of the investment strategy
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Excellent candidates will generally have or exceed the following qualifications:
  • Bachelors, Masters or Phd in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),
  • Indian Statistical Institute or similar
  • At least 2 years experience in developing .NET applications.
  • Good understanding of object oriented programming concepts
  • Very strong programming skills in one of the following: Python, C# and SQL knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interest in finance
