Job Description

The CCB Regulatory Services Analytics is leading a transformation of how we report and analyze information across all CCB businesses and functions. The activities of this team include developing interactive dashboards, analyzing cross line of business relationships and impacts, and analyzing consumer behaviors and the impacts to our business. Our mission is to liberate our people from manual, inefficient, tedious activities through automation and by transforming how we see and understand data. By using the latest innovative software, we employ data analysis and visualization techniques to navigate the storyline, generate the right insights, and answer questions quickly. The Team partners closely with regulatory operations leadership, senior management, and subject matter experts across CCB to ensure successful implementation of tactical and strategic change efforts. The CCB Regulatory Services Analyst II position is responsible for developing and analyzing data that will ensure automation of complex business processes and functions beyond conventional data transformation activities. The Analyst will work directly with data focused on developing meaningful business information that will be used to reduce risk and improve efficiency. The position also has responsibility for automating the data gathering and generation of operational reports across a line of business or functional area. Examples of the different types of analysis and automation will include: identifying high risk data trends, identifying data quality anomalies, applying technology to automate the routine manual processes, intelligent rules-driven automation, develop business metrics related to automated processes, automating reports that are currently generated manually, and implementation of Intelligent Solutions Control StandardRole and Responsibilities - As a Regulatory Services Analyst II, the candidate will (at a minimum):Establish proper frameworks and operating models for Digital Process Automation, process re-engineering projects that require strategic data management and leadership and present recommendations to CCB leadershipServe as the primary Business Process Automation resource by supporting ad-hoc analyses, proposing data management solutions, and leading process improvement initiatives for Business Managers to integrate digital process automation into every facet of businessContinuously look for opportunities to improve, enhance strategic project(s) and associated deliverables using digital tools, process re-engineering skills, innovation, automation etc.Stakeholder Management across regions/teams - share best practices, leverage common tools and processes where feasible, e.g. Partner with cross LOB teams, other COEs such as Regulatory Operations, Robotics, and Tech teamsDesigning and architecting solutions, scoping new engagements and implementations both short and long term, and guiding the team during product implementations.Be an area product owner for 1 or more technology initiatives. Driving successful installations of the product, configuration, tuning, and performance.Team leadership attract and retain talent; help team members to learn, grow and gain rich experience on the teamSupport ongoing technology evaluation process and proof of concept projects Identify unexplored data opportunities for the business to unlock and maximize the potential of digital data within the organizationIdentify opportunities to further automate manual reports and initiate enhancements to increase efficiencyQualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in business intelligence delivery, analytics, process improvements, data strategy role and/or business consulting
  • Bachelor s degree required; MBA or related Master s Degree is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and interact effectively with leadership team to deliver insightful customer analysis and actionable recommendations
  • Required - Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, SAS
  • Preferred R/ Python, Anaconda, HIVEQL
  • Familiarity with Agile and JIRA, is a plus
  • Prefer familiarity with database structure supporting Mortgage, Card, Auto and Consumer Bank.
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Detailed oriented with ability and drive to deliver high quality work
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful business information
