Job Description

    There s nothing more exciting than being at the center of a rapidly growing field in technology and applying your skillsets to drive innovation and modernize the worlds most complex and mission-critical systems.As a Site Reliability Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you will solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions. Through code and cloud infrastructure, you will configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and their associated infrastructure to independently decompose and iteratively improve on existing solutions. You are a significant contributor to your team by sharing your knowledge of end-to-end operations, availability, reliability, and scalability of your application or platform.Job responsibilities
    • Act as a key contributor in the continued development of tools, frameworks & techniques to improve productivity and Quality of Production management function, adopting the DevOps principles to manage and support the environment.
    • Recommend solutions to solve generic issues in systems and procedures to avoid recurrences of system or operational failures.
    • Recommend system changes to reduce required manual intervention in either monitoring or managing system performance/availability.
    • Be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with Application Development and DevOps Leadership
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Hands-on, technology-focused individual, who enjoys working through hard technical problems. Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting and SQL.
    • Domain exp: Trade Life cycle to settlement, Position Management, Valuation, Asset Servicing
    • Design and Use Monitoring Dashboards for day to day Support
    • Generate Service KPIs, reports on service stability and performance.
    • Liaise with Dev and QA teams for release management
    • Run incident calls for client outage. Incident Management and Tracking
    • Participate in Change Management calls. Engage with OPS and client support teams on user query resolution. Log & Message bus monitoring: Splunk ELK Geneos AppDynamics DynaTrace.
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Expertise in Excel, Macro and Power point will be an advantage
