Job Description

    * RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Manages the Data Management team deliverables
    • Ensure a smooth, timely, accurate and error free processing - account opening management, static data system setup/static data maintenance (system maintenance) including receiving updated SSI/confirmation static Performing call back/SV/ICDMS upload, authenticate call back forms.
    • Analysis of various reports / monitoring TP queues and ensure to approach client /respective FMOCC/RM/to get SSI/confirmation static and authenticate them to raise request for static set up.
    • To ensure adherence to processes and controls as detailed in the DOI and keep the DOI update to all process changes.
    • Continuous improvement in productivity to the standards prescribed for the processes from time to time.
    • Participate in relevant system implementation and its user acceptance test to ensure systems are appropriately implemented.
    • Captures and Management of critical reference data elements within Financial Markets Operations, including but not limited to Financial Market contracts.
    • Ensure Data integrity of Master Agreements on SCB in-house systems
    • Responsible for answering queries from Bank s stakeholders (including but not limited to - legal, credit, margin operations)
    • Knowledge of Financial Markets products and operational processes supporting the business.
    • System enhancements, UATs
    • Liaising with Bank s stakeholders to ensure clean data flow
    • Timely escalation of process / reconciliation and other issues to Line Manager.
    • Provide cross support to other teams in Data Management
    • Other ad-hoc projects

    Our Ideal Candidate:
    • Bachelors degree preferably in Finance or in an analytics area with at least 2-3 years in Financial Markets operations background.
    • Ability to read Chinese Financial Market documentation (Mandarin proficient)
    • Experienced in supporting a global group and ability to work in a highly collaborative manner across the network with a wide range stakeholder.
    • Experienced in delivering in a fast-paced, and highly driven environment, to tight deadlines delivery significant change
    • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
    • Fluent and comfortable in English written and spoken.
    • Self-motivated, energetic and result oriented.
    • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return.
    • Willingness and ability to work and deliver on tight/challenging deadlines.
    • Good knowledge of Financial Markets operations and support systems.
    • Sound understanding of FM products
    • Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Office, Excel and VBA etc.
    • Ability to work autonomously, but also a good team player.
    • Process focused with the ability to follow guidelines.
    • Proficiency in Mandarin language is mandatory.
