Job Description

    About the Company and RoleSHANBHAGS is a diversified distributor of industrial pumps, motors and compressors. We represent leading Indian and international brands as their authorized distributor with a pan-India presence. Our varied list of clients includes major Indian and multinational companies.We are headquartered in Mumbai, with branch offices in Pune & Surat, and sales personnel across Chandigarh, Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.We are looking for a qualified, experienced Resident Sales Engineer in Vadodara or in Mumbai for our imported product lines, specifically magnetic-drive seal-less pumps used in the chemicals and Oil & Gas industry.Responsibilities
    1. Business development across the assigned territory - this involves generating leads and cold calls to prospective customers, as well as frequent travel for face-to-face customer meetings with customers, contractors, consultants.
    2. Sales of technical, specialized pumping products to qualified buyers / purchase teams in a competitive environment. One needs to understand the customers requirements - which means having good knowledge of their business operations.
    3. Regular Go-to-Market planning keeping the long-term business objectives in mind, while also setting regular targets and undertaking periodic performance reviews.
    4. Identifying and developing new opportunities for our specialized pumps - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new channels to reach existing markets.
    5. Frequent liaising with the Account/Admin team and Order Execution team as appropriate for business operations
    Requirements
    1. Diploma or Degree Engineers with 3-4 years sales experience in industrial pumps. Prior experience with seal-less magnetic-drive centrifugal pumps in chemical or hydrocarbon industries is required.
    2. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) as well as Google Suite (email, calendar, etc.). Willingness to learn and use new computer applications like CRM tools.
    3. Dynamic, go-getter, willing to go the distance to close orders
    4. Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the state; own 2-wheeler preferred.
    5. Fluency in English and the local language is preferred
