Job purposeThe RPA Solutions Architect is responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to design, develop, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. This role will lead the development of RPA solutions and communicate with stakeholders to ensure they are aligned with business objectives and requirements. The Solutions Architect should have mastery of architectural patterns and best practices, including the integration between systems, and ensuring that the solution is secure, reliable, scalable and maintainable.Duties and responsibilities
• Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution.
• Design RPA solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.
• Work with Business Analysts/Customers to understand process requirements and translate into functional specifications and high-level designs, in conjunction with the development team.
• Responsible for implementing the full life cycle of RPA solution
• Take part in architectural discussions and perform architectural reviews of RPA stories.
• Work with developers to ensure that designed solutions are scalable and that any security and/or regulation requirements are addressed.
• Ensure best practices are being followed by developers including but not limited to: coding, naming conventions, testing practices, design, bot performance, and quality.
• Manage the development team to ensure they have the necessary tools, training, and access to meet customer needs.
• Manage your stories completely, including prioritization, working with stakeholders for design and specs, communicating status to all, implementation, and documenting what youve done.
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards.
• Monitor performance of deployed automation solutions to ensure reliability. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
• Manage the RPA environment and automation going forward.
• Drive the creation of a governance framework for the end-to-end RPA implementation and ongoing support and maintenance. This governance framework should include the engagement model, process documentation, standards, release management, roles and responsibilities, and a mechanism for continuous improvement.
• Participate in automation troubleshooting as required.
• Overall, be the primary technical contact for tool usage, tool configuration, and usage, bot scalability, environment set up, technical thought leadership.
• Provide customer/project support as needed, including but not limited to process discovery/definition, detailed process design, and automation troubleshooting.
• Participate in local BU and other RPA events, as needed.
• Provide technical insights into the RPA vendor comparison.
• Research emerging technologies related to RPA development.
What you need
• Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience developing with RPA tools such as UiPath
• 2-3 years of experience architecting RPA solutions
• Experience with any process mapping tool
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to translate technical solutions to non-technical clients

• Demonstrated ability to review code and specifications ensuring high quality standards of other engineers stories
• Demonstrated skill with designing and implementing complicated RPA stories
