Responsible for implementation / compliance of the company safety policy, project safety plan and health & safety standards among all employee at site.Ensure compliance with main contractor s requirements related to HSE at site.Interact with the main contractor & client and have joint site inspections periodically.Establish & maintain liaison with the main contractor s safety representatives.Monitor the safety performance of employees on site.Conduct periodic routine inspections of plant, warehouse, canteen & accommodation facilities for compliance with plant safety & general safety standards.Participate in accident investigation and maintain an environment that supports the health and safety of employees, suppliers, customers and visitors.Provide advice and expertise on personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment viz. emergency showers, fire extinguisher, fire hydrant etc.Check compliance of the work permit system.Participate in conducting a variety of health and safety training programs viz. hazard communication, fire protection, radiation safety, emergency response plan etc.Prepare / Assist site HSE manager in the preparation of required monthly, weekly and daily statistics / reports to the client and the company.Assist in creation HSE work method of statements / job hazard analysis / job safety analysis and job risk assessments.Initiate emergency plans and fire drill, conduct site orientation / induction to the workforce before their deployment on site.Facilitate certification of H/ E operator, Work permit receiver certification.Frame high elevation work procedure accordingly i.e. scaffolding, lifeline, man basket, man lift etc.Internal auditing as per Saudi Aramco new SMS system.Audit and correct HSE deviations at site advise company higher authorities to rectify any unsafe condition on site.Conduct weekly safety meeting with workers and supervisory personnel and keep record of meeting on site with subject and attendance.Motivation program for workers to adopt safe working practices.Ensure that any equipment on site is suitable and has the necessary valid certificates and to draw site management attention to any defects and deficiencies. Responsible for heavy and critical lifting / loading and unloading of heavy materials.,
