Job Description

    The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing sales/ account activities for all assigned territories, defining and driving sales strategies, ensuring the achievement of bookings, revenue and business goals.Responsibilities:Own all sales/ account/agent management responsibilities of specified Thermo Fisher Electron Microscope products to all sites including resolving any issues.Achieve and surpass annual sales targetsDefine, align and implement Account Strategy.Maintain accurate quarterly bookings & revenue forecasts.Understand all budget issues at each customer and take strategic actions.Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders.Manage all user Group activity by product as required.Manage system demonstrations by working closely with Business Development, FSE, application engineers and product marketing managers.Manage the sales booking process.Follow up on the leads and convert them into opportunitiesManage product issues in the field by working closely with the account service group and application engineers for solutions.Education and Experience Requirements:This position is ideal for an experienced professional wanting to be involved with a dynamic team and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas using Electron Microscopy.The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:A combination of education and industry/domain experience that demonstrates the required skills.5 - 10 years of relevant experienceA strong drive to achieve results and work to deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure and be accountable.The ability to produce and implement new ideas, and to see new opportunities and effectively realize them.Good organizational, judgement and decision-making skills.Enthusiasm to work within a diverse, cross-functional team across multiple sitesA high level of integrity and a desire to improve customer outcomes and achieve customer satisfactionBe willing to travel up to 75%,
