Position Summary The Sales Engineer acquires, establishes and develops relationships with existing and prospect customers in the assigned region. Shall be responsible to look into Documentation, MIS reports, Quotation, order follow up, order processing, documents approval to execution Principal Activities Direct relations with the client and / or agents in the area. Identification of business from existing and prospective customers in respective territory or areas of responsibility Technical analysis of technical / commercial specifications defined by the customer and international industry standards. Configuration of the Pumps, using specific Sizing Software, and product quotations activities supported by Business software. Preparation of Techno- Commercial Proposals for presentation to customers. Techno commercial negotiation, coordination at RFQ stage & making the quote, follow up for order conversion. Order handling, contract review, coordinating with factory & OMC & customer for documents approval. Acquire and communicate competitive intelligence as it pertains to CIRCOR products, technology, and activity Develop and implement strategies that successfully target potential customers and capture additional market share from competitors Identify target accounts in which to promote new business Establish and maintain territorial sales forecasts and maintenance of customer profile report. Support various trade shows and exhibitions Job Requirements CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Skills & Abilities Excellent ability to analyze and interpret customer specifications Exceptional data analytics Excellent accuracy, customer orientation and applications knowledge Background in system / industrial products & projects sales, tendering, working with EPC & Engineering Consultants. Good in meeting deadlines Experienced in a High- mix/low- volume industrial manufacturing Must understand capacities issues in an Engineered to Order environment Good NDT knowledge and quality documentation. Demonstrate abilities to perform in a metric driven environment Good negotiation skills, knowledge of payment methods (penalties, guarantees) and contractual terms, communication skills are required. Familiar with Sales & Application tools (CRM, selectors, configurators, etc.) Must be a strong influencer, driven solely by data and facts. A good understanding of ERP systems (preferably IFS & SAP). Ability to work as a team Education & Experience Bachelor / Master s degree Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Minimum 3 years in Industrial Pumps,
