The SAP BI & Planning Engineer will have responsibility for designing, developing, and supporting financial reporting and planning solutions on the SAP BI and BPC platforms. The position will be accountable for the performance and stability of the SAP BPC platform in accordance with defined service levels. The SAP BI & Planning Engineer will manage Production Support and the project lifecycles for planning and reporting activities, including design, development, testing, migrations & builds, Production operations, and new software versions and/ or solutions, while taking accountability for inbound demand, issue resolution, and project delivery. The SAP BI & Planning Engineer will also provide technical direction and support for FP&A team, and will serve as a focal point for planning related issues. The SAP BI & Planning Engineer will also coordinate cross- functional issue resolution across teams and resources, and serve as a liaison amongst teams and with the business as appropriate. Principal Responsibilities Designing, developing and supporting integration solutions built on the SAP BPC platform Designing, developing and supporting integration solutions built on the SAP BI platform Ensure the performance and reliability of the BPC infrastructure, in support of lines of business consuming these solutions Provide top- notch service to internal and external customers in the planning systems ecosystem Contribute to architecture & design conversations regarding planning solutions, and exercise authority and vision in decision- making. Collaborate with infrastructure team, SAP project teams, Compliance, PMO, Business Analysts, and business leads as necessary. Contribute planning systems environment stewardship and evangelize best practices in the software lifecycle Prototype next- generation solutions using new technologies and product releases Provide team leadership and mentoring, with a lead by example approach. Share knowledge and cross- train on solution components. Deep knowledge in SAP BPC Strong vertical skills in SAP Business Intelligence applications Demonstrated proficiency in designing complex planning solutions. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis Established track record of designing & implementing planning and BI solutions in accordance with business requirements and best practices for full project lifecycle Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and quickly absorb new technologies Ability to multitask and manage concurrent workload, balancing project delivery, operational support, and continuous improvement.,
