Roles and responsibilities Security Operations Analyst - Mumbai Security Operations Analyst - Mumbai Position OverviewInformation Security Operator will responsible for L1 alert monitoring and incident investigation/ handling/ tracking based on the security use cases configured in SIEM solution. He/ She will also responsible for analyzing false positive alerts and provide feedback to L2 team. Person on this role will also be interacting with multiple internal teams for multiple phases on investigation and incident handling. Scope of ResponsibilityHands-on experience on Security Monitoring activitiesKnowledge of all the different types of attacks and detection parametersGood knowledge of Vulnerabilities, Virus and ThreatsHandling Alert on SIEM Dashboard by creating ticketsResponsible for analyzing, escalation, reporting and trackingContinuous monitoring of alert queuesCoordinating with respective teams/ stake owner for data gathering. Determine if critical system or data has been impactedSpecific Knowledge/ SkillsPractical experience in some or all of the technologies listed below: Worked on SIEM tool (Splunk/ Qradar/ McAfee/ ArcSight) Log analysis from different log sources (Windows, Linux, appliances) Worked on ticketing tool (Snow, Remedy, Archer etc. ) Intrusion detection/ prevention systems. Be capable in MS-Office like MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Good communication (Both written or spoken) . Desired experienceAt least 2-3 years hands on InfoSec experience with security monitoring, experience in BFSI sector is added advantage.
