Job Description

    ADSIPL is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Systems Project Manager to join our team. The team is responsible for the design, installation and integration of security systems equipment including, but not limited to, Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.You will also be responsible for the continuous review of existing standards and to stay abreast of developments in new technology that will enhance the physical security of AWS data centers and co-locations. You will work directly with the Cluster Security Manager, Security Manager and Regional Security Program Managers,the Infrastructure Operations and Construction teams, and other customers, both internal and external, to integrate the business requirements into physical security systems design and implementation. Your work will include supporting the construction and deployment of physical security packages for all AWS data centers and co-locations in the cluster. You will also work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with all security standards during the construction, testing and acceptance phases of the projects.The ideal candidate for the role will have demonstrated the ability to work in all disciplines, at all levels; from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system. You will have an in-depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and will have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.Key job responsibilities Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including, but not limited to, access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components of physical security systems. Design of physical security system for new construction, expansion and retrofit projects. Preparation of security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for projects for the purposes of pricing by approved vendors. Review and provide quality assurance of vendor quotes. Submission of complete and accurate vendor quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for inclusion in project requisitions. Project management of multiple, concurrent security system installation projects and vendors. Subject Matter Expert for physical security system testing and acceptance, and assuring operational readiness at project completion. Preparation and archiving of project close-out documentation. Reporting vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability / reliability.About the teamHere at AWS, we embrace our differences.     • 5+ years of security operations and/or law enforcement experience, including training others in security procedures
    • 2+ years of experience with security software systems such as Lenel
    • 2+ years of experience of video surveillance equipment
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
    , Bachelor s degree or equivalent professional experience in security or related fields; i.e., logistics, transportation, facilities amongst others08+ years of commercial or industrial work experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good knowledge of Excel.Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where numerous systems/applications/software are highly dependent.Proficient English verbal and written communication skills with attention to detailStrong data-driven decision making and analytical skills.Ability to integrate into an International work environment.Ability to manage continuous improvement projects and provide oversight for large scale construction programs.Must be prepared and have the ability to work and travel to Data Centers pan-cluster whilst on-call. Experience of working independently in a high security environmentConflict resolution training.Able to perform security risk assessments and devise mitigation strategies.PSP or relevant certifications.Lenel Certifications.Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001.Experience in managing projects, small teams or contract guard force.
