Job Description

    Job DescriptionUnder general direction, plans, organizes, and manages store operations with an emphasis on punctuality, cleanliness, and customer service; open and close store at given time, check store cleanliness at all times; service customers per their needs; manage store orders and cash; conduct inventory audit; timely maintenance reporting out to stakeholders; training fellow staff to follow store functions efficiently; and supervise classified staff in the area.ScopeThe Store Manager manages the CRM and Sales functions at the store and develops and implements activities to promote and drive sales; convert potential leads and provide excellent customer service, and constantly make improvements to the store to process store operations efficiently; Maintains and follows procedures, guidelines; provides procedural trainings to fellow staff; plans store activities; reviews and approves inventory changes; determines product placements and ensures store is organized; and serves as a resource for order fulfillment from the store; conducts store audits for inventory reconciliation and condition. The Store Manager has responsibility for overall operations at the store, communications between store and warehouse, and communication to customers.Key Duties and Responsibilities
    • Store operations: The Store Manager must ensure that all the employees contribute to their level best for the effective functioning of the store; must act as a strong pillar of support and stand by his team at the hour of crisis. It is his duty to acquaint his team members with the latest trends in fashion or any other newly launched product. It is his responsibility to delegate responsibilities to his subordinates and ensure completion.
    • Targets: The store manager must make sure his store is meeting the targets and earning profits; is responsible for the smooth and effective functioning of the store.
    • Customer Service and Brand Image: The store manager is responsible for maintaining the overall image of the store. It is his duty to sensibly display the merchandise so that it immediately catches the attention of the customers. The store manager must ensure that his store meets the expectations of the customers and lives up to its predefined brand image.
    • Store Cleanliness:
      • Shelves and racks are properly stocked and products do not fall off the shelves.
      • The merchandise should be according to the season as well as the latest trends.
      • The store is well lit, ventilated and offers a positive ambience to the customers.
    • Inventory;
      • Responsible for managing the assets of the store. The security and safety of the store is his responsibility.
      • The store manager must ensure accurate inventory at the store.
