Job Description

:1/ Global Notifications and Registrations

  • Go to person for EU & India initiated substance notification
  • Follows the developments of the chemical legislation in India
  • Interface to the business with all departments and functions for related projects
  • Identify and initiate globally new and existing substance registration and notification based on business request. Assist in preparing substance identification i.e. provide criteria for decision whether substance or polymer.
  • Develop and implement an effective, holistic strategy to accomplish global registrations to achieve the fastest time to market, maximizing competitive business advantage.
  • Monitor progress of dossier preparation and/or eco/tox tests with dossier team and risk assessment team to meet planned registration timeline.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings with business partners and other stakeholders, regularly prepare project updates, actively communicate the changes or deviations to the planned schedule and keep flexibility to fit for business needs.
  • Supports the assessment and introduction of new and alternative raw materials for existing products for EU & India
  • Support reporting obligations for REACH, CLP, Inventories and Exports
2/ Focal point and support the Businesses on India & Pakistan REACH relevant aspects
  • Member of REACH / Regulatory business Teams
  • Follow the REACH like regulation in India & Pakistan
3/ Training
  • Provide training to business (R&D, commercial team, etc.) to improve registration awareness.
  • Provide training internally on India & Pakistan chemical regulations.
4/ Support the Business on any other regulatory projects5/ Support development of tools fulfilling Business and CRN Project Management Team objectives6/ Internal and external representation
  • Participant in local industry and trade association

9/Education:
  • University degree in chemistry or life sciences or equivalent (master degree) with 5 years working Experience, e.g. PS&RC, production, R&T
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations in the EU and Switzerland, good knowledge of regulations world-wide
  • Good knowledge of toxicology and related disciplines,
  • Wide experience in information technology tools e.g. Office 365, Scifinder, IUCLID
  • Solid knowledge in SAP, SAP-EHS
