Job Description

30 - Jul - Senior Analyst - Finance 9500BR Business Management & Operations WHAT YOULL DO A hands - on , commercially focused financial analyst role working with the Project management team located in Mumbai and Gurgaon. The role requires the individual to work in a collaborative manner with the Team Lead , the Global Services Finance Team , the consultants and partners. The candidate will work with the team lead and have responsibility for project and contract management , reporting and analysis on key business and client based metrics. The role supports the Commercial Team Lead in the area of contract and financial management of projects by ensuring the BCGs contracting and revenue recognition policies are adhered to and providing timely and meaningful analysis of key metrics. YOURE GOOD AT Business Partnering Help the business with pricing and commercial analysis on key deals. Work with legal teams to ensure that commercial and legal terms are as per BCG policies in RFPs and contracts. Drive the commercial performance of the operations , providing insightful analysis and support to achieve this. Assist the Team Lead in preparation of materials to support discussions between OA , HoF and local partner group on the direction and performance of the operation Effectively embed risk management into the commercial aspects of the finance function , and ensure we have adequate systems of internal control and ensure compliance with local tax , legal , and other regulatory requirements Providing ad hoc information and analysis as required Improving constantly the information systems based on Oracle database Liaise with Global Services and the region as appropriate Risk Management and Compliance Ensures appropriate local office policies are in place and monitored and global policies are adhered to Assist in client negotiations and contracting directly or through teaming with appropriate experts and legal team , ensuring enforcement of world - wide contracting and pricing policies Assist in the implementation of Global risk management procedures (e.g. , segregation of duties , controls , documentation , archiving , emergency procedures) in the finance and legal entity maintenance areas YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) University degree in Finance or Business degree , preferably with emphasis on Finance / Accounting and professionally qualified Chartered Accountancy or equivalent 4+ years experience in Commercial and financial planning and Analysis role and professional Services firm background Familiarity with US financial reporting and GAAP requirements Experience in pricing , negotiation , contracting , general accounting , planning , analysis and commercial support , financial systems implementation , financial reporting , budgeting , YOULL WORK WITH Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly , efficiently , and productively.
