Solid programming fundamentals. Comprehensive understanding of Android application architecture, Activities, Services, Intents, Content Providers and Notifications, Web Apps and Web View Expertise in working on multi-threadedapps, XML & JSON, and web services Proficient in Views, Layouts, Menus Strong grasp of algorithms and datastructures. Knowledge of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, network & socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading. Adept Java, Eclipse, OOP Design, JSON, Javascript C Knowledge Exposure to Location-Based Services, Supporting multiple screens, Security and Permissions, Widgets and social APIs integration will be an added advantage. Communicate with clients along with the Product team, to understand requirements and provide inputs Work with small team to test, document, and deploy software. Develop architecture based on business requirements with an eye on scalability and near real-time performance Work with large unstructured and structured data sets from various sources (APIs, etc. ) Apply data-mining, machine learning and/ or graph analysis techniques for a variety of business needs in the application Managing engineering process and conducting code reviews Researching and developing solutions while constantly updating knowledge on new trends and developments Desired Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in writing & debugging Android applications Using ActionBarSherlock for effective top level navigation across android platforms Handling Push notifications, Animations, Location based services Roboguice / Butter knife framework for resource management Experience in full life cycle software development including design, development, production, testing, roll out, maintenance and support. Development and configuring custom android widgets ex : Calendar, Number/ Date picker, sliding menu etc. . Json based API integration Understands Android memory management Unit test frameworks like Roboelectric for android Application Experience of Micro transactions, third-party tools & plug-in like Open Feint etc. would be advantage. Participate in innovation, design and architecture of the apps Proven ability to ship apps from start to finish An eagerness to work in a fast-paced startup environment A passion for building beautifully designed mobile products Ability to handle complete projects independently. Ability to deliver projects within the agreed timelines. ,
