We support UN-Habitat with knowledge and expertise to improve the quality of life in rapidly growing cities around the world.We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Senior BIM Modeler to work on our projects in BangaloreTo be considered for a role we are seeking candidates with the following credentials:, *Qualification & Experience; Btech/Diploma in Structural/Civil Engineering, or equivalent , although other related disciplines will be considered. 5 to 8 years of experience in REBAR detailing with 2 to 3 years in Revit. Experience on Dynamo is added advantage. Fully computer literate (includes Word and Excel) and have good written and verbal communication skills in English. Conversant with the latest Revit, Aecosim, Microstation, AutoCAD, Cads RC packages. Confident in the ability to produce 3D models in Revit, Aecosim or CADS RC, A360 Competent in the detailing of reinforced concrete and structural steel. Knowledge in using BS Codes and Euro Codes.Principal Duties & Key Responsibilities; As a Senior BIM/CAD Modeler you will have a sound knowledge of BIM, and have experience in both new-build and refurbishments, including Mining, highway, commercial and rail projects. The role will involve the preparation of preliminary sketches, general arrangement drawings, detail drawings, reinforcement drawings and schedules under the direction of an Engineer. You will be using Revit (latest version), to produce 2D drawings and 3D models for tender and construction. You will coordinate with Project BIM lead and produce detailed 3D models to a prescribed LOD and the drawing sets required for a project delivery for projects.Your Day-to-Day: The role will involve the preparation of preliminary sketches, general arrangement drawings, detail drawings, reinforcement drawings and schedules under the direction of an Engineer/BIM Lead. Required Competencies; Knowledge about the BIM LOD Level Detailing. Strong organisation Skills ability to work independently and as a team and ensure communications are effective.
