Job Description

Hiring Senior Business Analyst for a leading fintech company in MumbaiExperience: 5-7 years of experience in the banking/transit IndustryQualification: B.E, MBA (preferred)CTC: As per industry standardsRoles and Responsibilities:

  • Performs client interviews to establish business requirements
  • Takes responsibility for adhering to project plans, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional specification document as per company format.
  • Performs gap-analysis with the assistance of other team members
  • Performs review, analysis and evaluation of business and user requirements.
  • Writes documentation of detailed business requirements and business flows for application development, Form, Fields for database with data types with validation.
  • Reviews all design solutions for accuracy and adherence to the business requirements.
  • Gives design input through knowledge of software and industry to ensure all accommodations have been made
  • Answers functional questions about the system
  • Documents training materials and provides training if needed
  • Researches and documents bugs, communicates issues to developers and support staff and works the bug lists to ensure reasonable turnaround.
  • Lead and mentor junior resources where required
Domain specific Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in the Transit industry/banking. Preference knowledge on AFCS
  • Implementation/ operations with transit experience preferred.
  • Good understanding on different transit system their roles and functions in the industry.
  • Good knowledge of back office processes and external interfaces with different transport authorities.
  • Good understanding of contactless cards, QR code validation and related form factor
Special Skills Required
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with all levels of an organization
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent transit knowledge
  • People skills including: acting with integrity and respect for others, negotiation, political sensitivity, professional impartiality, service orientation, personal time management and ability to achieve success through exercise of influence
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Ability to work with processes established to retain critical knowledge and facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Initiative and the ability to work in a self-directed fashion
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • A high degree of attention to quality, detail and deadlines
