Job Description

Your Role:

  • At Dream11 in the Data Science team, we are looking for highly skilled, self-motivated Data Scientists who are passionate about innovating and developing machine learning and data analytics solutions to build on top of the massive sports data mine which we hold.
  • We provide the opportunity to collaborate with an energetic and dedicated team that works on cutting-edge technology to create tools and services which help make our product more customer friendly.
  • The candidate will work with Applied Scientists, MLE s, Data Engineers, Backend Teams to build, deploy, and maintain applications in multiple environments.
Must Have:
  • Industry Experience as a data scientist/MLE or related field for at least 3 years
  • Familiarity with hosting APIs, containerisation, sharding etc
  • Familiar with structuring machine learning systems for production
  • Feature engineering at scale: Experience with workflow management platforms like airflow/prefect/step/jenkins or equivalent
Good to Have:
  • Linear Algebra / Numerical Computing equivalent of Gilbert Strangs book
  • Experience in applied data analysis, including A/B testing
  • Skills in OO programming ( Python, Java, Julia or C )
  • Experience with large-scale distributed data processing systems, cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or GCP, and container systems such as Docker
  • Functional programming languages such as Scala
  • Familiarity with running Spark, Dask jobs
  • Familiar with distributed graph processing/analysis
