• The Retail, Private Banking and Wealth Management ITO is accelerating transformation of agile banking services with DevOps and Agile practices, with an aim towards efficiency, automation, and improved transparency Delivery Sprint Teams will be at the core of delivering this agenda.
• Delivery Sprint Teams will build and integrate components of the DevOps pipeline to deliver new banking capabilities, as well as refactoring of existing applications. Sprint teams will all be experienced programmers, operations people and product owners who can develop and drive their capability development end-to-end. Breadth across both programming and system operations is required of all candidates and depth must be demonstrated in their specialization; this is a cross-functional team with cross over between development and operations with business.
Job Description
• We are seeking talented and motivated individuals for the role of Lead Microsoft Dynamics Developer and Functional Consultant. Successful candidates will be experienced programmers with a track record of successful Microsoft Dynamics deliveries within the Financial Markets domain. Comfortably working in the Agile delivery framework, they need to excel at developing user stories and related test cases, breaking down, designing, and developing solutions in an environment with constant collaborative discussions. They will be matured individuals who are comfortable working in a Scrum, Kanban, XP and related frameworks including frequent critical peer reviews of design and code. They must be able to offer constructive critical reviews of other developers designs and code. They must be able to collaboratively work with product owners to develop use stories and test cases. They will be able to research, trial, and recommend new technologies of interest to the group. They will have experience with taking code through testing, deployment, and production and will not have merely handed off code to QA and Production Support.
• Crucially, they should be highly skilled in Microsoft Dynamics and related technologies, and they should be comfortable discussing requirements and implementation with both technical as well as business stakeholders. This also means that they should have advanced functional MSD skills in the target domain.
• Importantly, they will also be able to coach junior developers and impart their considerable technological experience to new and upcoming talent.
• In addition, the successful candidate needs to be fluent with release management processes and help with relevant documentation, environment management and approvals process.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
• 10+ Years of I.T Experience
• Strong Knowledge in Java8, Spring Boot, Microservice, Rest Service and at least one other programming language.
• Microsoft Dynamics including PCF, PowerBI and related technologies.
• SOA / Webservices (REST & SOAP)
• Mark-up Languages XML & JSON
• Experience in any RDBMS (SQL Queries, Stored Procedures)
• Knowledge of SSL, TLS
• App / Web Server Tomcat / Jboss / WebSphere
• O.S AIX, Linux
• Debug Tools Postman / Soap UI
• Database: Oracle, Postgres, SQL
• Knowledge and experience of complex systems, APIs, Application and Solution Architecture as well as DevOps.
• Address internal code scan and security related observations.
• Should be able to guide junior developers on the code improvisation.
