Job Description

We are looking for an Editor-in-Chief to contribute to and manage our global internal news and information website and support other internal communications projects as required.Editor responsibilities

  • Write, edit, curate, proofread and source stories from employees and diverse research.
  • Take charge of the Group intranet Talent pipeline to schedule articles and campaigns ensuring that fresh and engaging content is published every day.
  • Plan and coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of content.
  • Work closely with internal content authors to draft and edit content while ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Take full responsibility for the content on the intranet homepage and suggest edits to make the content more appealing to the global audience.
  • Leverage social media as appropriate (including our internal social channel Yammer) to promote Global stories and relay important Group updates.
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent with external communications messages.
  • Work with the technical team to test new updates and features in the CMS and Talent site, and report broken links and other technical issues that may hamper user experience.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to the Talent content style guide.
  • Suggest new pilots and project manage them.
  • Suggest internal series/ campaigns to promote the Capgemini brand and values.
  • Assist in keeping the internal assets pages up-to-date.

  • Allocate tasks, in consultation with comms Lead, and be responsible for task delivery of junior members and mentor them as and when required.
Creative skills
  • Have the creative ability to suggest design ideas for banners and posters to the design team.
  • Be able to direct and coordinate for shoots with the video team.
Other skills / experience
  • Excellent proficiency in English; perfect spoken and written language, and an eye for detail.
  • Several years experience in communications is preferable, along with handson writing experience in fields such as marketing, journalism, communications, or similar.
  • Ability to contribute in a team role as well as deliver independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with time and task prioritization, and the ability to manage more than one project at a time with strict deadlines.
  • A fair understanding of the basic principles of Communications and/or Marketing (employee engagement, brand, positioning, propositions).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint (Photoshop is an added advantage).
