Job Description

      The candidate contributes to creating a software product using the Agile software development lifecycle methodology to meet the agreed business requirements. In particular, for this position, the candidate needs to have working knowledge and hands-on experience on Linux Kernel. He should have in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals and how Linux implements it natively. He should be working knowledge of how bootloader and kernel work, how Linux kernel build and makefiles work. The candidate should have good L2/L3 bridging and switching fundaments. Protocol knowledge is a must. Highly competent in C programming is a necessity
      Experience Band: 3-7yrs
      Qualifications: Computer Science degree (BE/B.Tech)
      Core Competencies:
      - Network Architecture Understanding
      - Strong problem solving and debugging skills
      - Excellent communication skills (English as a medium)
      - Ability to lead small teams and achieve tasks in given time frame
      - Quick learner and a strong desire to succeed with tasks
      Must Have Technical Skills:
      - Strong Networking Protocols skills (IP/IPv6, TCP/UDP, ICMP, ARP, DHCP, HTTP)
      - Multicasting (IGMP/IGMPv3) Understanding
      - Strong L2 Switching fundamentals (IEEE 802.3/Ethernet/VLAN/RSTP)
      - Firewalls, NAT, DNS, Q-in-Q, PPP/PPPoE
      Good To Have Technical Skills:
      - QoS, CoS, DSCP, Q scheduling, Rate Limiting
      - Media streaming protocols RTP, RTCP, RTSP, UPnP, DLNA
      - DSL Forum TR understanding (TR 069, TR 101, TR 098 )
    - IP based Security protocols and concepts
