Job Description

1.1) Account Management - Prospection

  • To contact and inform existing customers and new prospects, in order to keep the market up to date about Companys Food Fortification (FF) product portfolio & services
  • To expand Vantage Nutrition Fortification customer base in the segment in order to contribute to the sales target.
  • To identify and actively search for new prospects, analyse sales potential and work out sales activities both in India and abroad
  • To regularly visit customers for sales & business development. Ensure regular meetings with government officials and increase networking
  • To identify new product opportunities at existing and new prospects, coordinate a development of a customised viable solution and steer the concept to commercialisation of the same.
  • To ensure market leadership and business share position in the segment.
  • To coordinate with procurement team to optimise the cost of raw materials required in Food Fortification
To connect with the customers in order to understand the challenges in terms of services/ products (if any) and resolve their concerns/ issues on a priority basis1.2) Sales & Business Development - Proposals, forecast, contracts, market
  • S/he will be responsible to achieve Sales Volume and other key performance indicators such as account receivables in the assigned segment.
  • S/he will develop quarterly rolling forecasts for regular and new products and report the achievement, variances and relevant market information on a monthly basis.
  • S/he will have the authority to close contracts with clients in agreement with company For exceptions to the standard contractual arrangements, s/he will follow the applicable valid procedures.
  • S/he will gain market information trends, study competitors products and services and analyse the same, in order to explore ways of improving product portfolio and services, competitive analysis and communication strategy in order to increase profitability and market position and companys FF value proposition.
