We have a pan-India presence, with four world-class engineering delivery centers in Mumbai, and one each in Delhi, Baroda and Kolkata As a Senior Maritime Structures Engineer, in Mumbai, you will undertake structural design work, provide technical support and leadership to the project design teams, manage projects or packages of works, as required within the Ports and Maritime business. Working with other members of our team, you ll act as a senior designer, design checker, design package manager, and approver as appropriate. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to work carrying out detailed engineering design, including computer-based structural analysis, preparation of calculations, drawings and the necessary documentation for ports and maritime related projects; Guiding and mentoring of graduate/assistant engineers; and Liaison with client and other external parties, as required. A Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering Professional engineer registration status with a recognized professional institution such as MICE or MIStructE Proven ability in the field of ports and maritime civil engineering undertaking designs and structural analysis for concrete and/or steel marine structure such as piled jetties, dolphins, berthing structures, walkways, sheet piled quay walls and wharves and various forms of earth retaining and gravity marine structures. Proven record of carrying out structural analysis using computer based software such as SAP. Proven ability in design of infrastructure works for ports and terminals Proven ability in designing to Eurocodes Ability to work with little supervision Good written and spoken communication skills Enthusiastic, Willing to take responsibility, an interest in mentoring and developing technical talent and a team player.
