Job Description

  • Be part of EFI Global Infrastructure team and manage Linux and Storage Infrastructure spread across all the EFI locations.
  • Technology and platform stack includes RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, NetApp and other Linux and storage platforms.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems relating to systems and applications.
  • Perform maintenance/upgrades to applications and systems including patching and finetuning.
  • Managing configuration management tools such as Ansible for work flow automation.
  • Managing operations related to Linux infrastructure servers such as FTP, NIS, NFS Servers, Home directories
  • Manage operations related to NetApp storage - CIFS, NFS, Snapshots, Snapmirror
  • Automate internal processes and procedures.
  • Follow incident, problem, crisis, and change management processes.
  • Work with IT teams to assist in supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
Skills Requirement
  • 6 8 years experienced Linux and Storage administrator with 70% Linux and 30% Storage responsibility.
  • Solid hands on experience on Various flavours of Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Well verse with DNS, RADIUS, Apache, MySQL, PHP, NFS, SAMBA, NIS, SSH, FTP, NIS, Tomcat
  • Well verse with basic and advanced system administration tasks including troubleshooting, performance monitoring and availability monitoring.
  • Hands on experience with NetApp storage in a clustered mode.
  • Hands on experience on various storage platforms like NetApp, EMC and Dell would be a great plus.
  • Should be a team player with excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage/handle Sev 1 tickets on priority and support On-Call 12X7
Educational Requirement:
  • Bachelors / Engineering Degree in Computers or any equivalent stream
