Senior Manager - Treasury Front OfficeWe have been retained by our client, a well established, professionally managed foreign bank to identify a Senior Manager Treasury Front Office. The position will be based at Mumbai.JOB PURPOSE : Advise customers regarding the future trends in the currencies for better management of their forex exposure.Gap analysis and undertaking swaps to close maturity mismatches with optimal return.Focus on revenue generation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Inter bank cover transactions of Foreign Currency in Spot and Forwards.Fundamental analysis of the rate movements of currencies for taking trading decisions.Work in close coordination with the Treasury Sales team and give a Strategic viewpoint on the currency markets.Development of various funding instruments from the market (Repo, CD, Debenture, Trading in Money market Instruments such as Treasury Bills and Government Securities.To Undertake Repo / Reverse Repo transactions.Responsible for maintaining various statutory and internal ratios of the bank.Reduction of cost of borrowings and increasing the credit spread. Analyze the counter party financials for setting Limits in Inter Bank dealing. To get the bank line from new banks to deal in Money and Forex markets.Keep track of various data releases and determining strategy for hedging positions of clients.Use technical analysis to help client enter and exit positionsAdherence to all regulatory frame work and internal guidelines.Review of outstanding balance of interbank transactions, such as money- market lending and borrowing, FX trading, etc. in order to maintain exposure to each bank within each limit.DESIRED SKILLS : Strong origination and deal closure skills.
