Job Description

Merchandise controller is responsible for store assortment planning execution. Monitoring Inventory movement for Display, Wh back up stocks customer order.

Responsibility:

  • Store Assortment Coordinating with regional team, ensuring right merchandise is on display based on their sales trend, promotion campaign competition.
  • Inventory tracking Daily tracking against customer order, merchandize movement based on lead time from WH. Ensuring Back up MBQ is maintained.
  • Daily, weekly monthly summary snapshot of store assortment, sales, non-assortment high ageing stocks to right stakeholder.
  • Visit all stores local market for better understanding of product, price merchandising.
  • New launch product ensure right mix is available at store and new product is displayed as per our guidelines
  • SPOC for all store communication like stock visibility, promotion pricing, new launch information, system related issues.
  • Working closely with store team regional IC for daily grievances
  • Sales stock analysis for merchandise control. Highlight odds for immediate corrective action.
  • Drive ASIS Non-assortment sales thru stores, by giving target, motivating floor staff, incentive etc.
  • Root cause analysis for any TAT lapse, and ensuring correct system/process is set to avoid future error.

Reporting to : Category Manager, Kitchenware and Tableware

Qualification : Graduate, MBA preferred.

Experience : Minimum 5 years experience in Retail inventory management.

Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of retail inventory movement (SAP knowledge preferred), Assortment planning , analytical skills.

Behavioral Skills : Result Oriented, Change Management, Problem solving, positive attitude
