JOB DESCRIPTION Role NameNetwork AnalystDepartment: ITOVERVIEW:The primary role of the Network Analyst to work closely with enterprise Architect, Program management team IT Infrastructure team to define the technical strategy and design of networking and security solutions for Vistra globally. He will be supporting the IT Infra team during the solution build phase and act as a single point of contact to ensure that it is implemented as per Global standard design and smoothly transition over to operation team post completion of the project.The person in this role has to ensure that a consistent and high quality level of support is provided to all Vistra IT infrastructure including Datacenter, DR, Cloud infrastructure, HUB room, Server room and hands on support on a need basis.The role does not include any direct line management of IT Support staff but needs to closely work with other technology specialist and assist Global IT team with network security related project implementation.In addition to above, the role holder will be responsible to maintain good relationships with key business stakeholders and support during off business hrs as and when required. PERSON PROFILE EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from reputed instituteEXPERIENCE:12 16 yearsSKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE: Certificates: Technology certifications like Cisco CCNA/ CCNP, Fortigate, Cloud security and Project management process knowledge is highly preferred, project management certification like PMP or Prince 2 will be added advantage.Responsibilities:Define, design participate to build a high availability IT infrastructure environment including in- house, colocation DC, DR and Cloud infrastructureEngage and partner with varoius technology team to jointly develop the architecture matching requirements and constraintsDrive process, procedures, controls and governance while implementing network security related projectsWork with senior IT management and business unit management locally as well as with global business groupsVendor management experience to work with local and Global vendors to effectively drive projects on time and within budgetReview and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, Routing, switching, Wi- FI and othersHelp with Network DR review and implement proposed changesParticipate and help with projects Budget requirement for IT infrastructure network security devicesWork closely with Application Development team to understand the network security element of work and ensure it is implemented as per requirementMust have managed and completed IT infrastructure migration project from in- house DC to Cloud servicesKnowledge Requirement: Ability to think ahead and plan/ build the infrastructure with scale and resiliency for the businessVery strong technical knowledge and/ or experience in networks and related servicesWAN (switching, routing), Hybrid WAN, LAN, WLAN, NAC solutions (Cisco and other vendors)Datacenter networks architecture in in- house Data Centers and public cloud architecture (AWS, Azure)Strong knowlege on Fortigate Cisco firewalls and next- generation firewalls, Web filtering, proxies, IPS/ IDS, (SSL) VPNStrong knowledge on WAN OptimiserStrong technical implementation knowledge on SD- WAN deployments or vendor exposure: Cisco/ Viptela, Riverbed SteelConnect, uCPE various vendorsAPM/ NPM product knowledge: Riverbed, InfoVista (Ipanema), Cisco WAASGood experience in setting up monitoring tools and integration with Service management like PRTG, Opsview, Servicenow etc.Good working Knowledge experience on network Cloud infrastructureGood understanding of financial ERP application like, MS Dynamic, QuickBooks, Infor SUN etc.Work closely with global peers for Network IP telephony infrastructure supportGood presentation skills, oral and written communication skillsStrong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools especially Excel, Project and Power pointAble to manage and develop a team to elevate technical skills and mindset,
