Job Description

    Responsible to perform various analytical activities and develop solution for natural products and patent litigation Responsibilities:
    • Able to fractionate different fractions from the microbial crude extract/plant crude extract using Soxhlet/ Liquid extraction/column chromatography/Preparative HPLC and other extraction techniques
    • Able to monitor the extracted components in separated fractions using TLC/HPLC/GC/HPLC/LC-MS/GC-MS and other modern analytical techniques
    • Able to identify the separated component using modern analytical techniques such as HPL/GC/ HPLC-CAD/FTIR/LC-MS/GC-MS/NMR etc
    • Able to compile and conclude the findings with quantification of isolated components
    Experience Required
      • Very good experience of separation techniques such as fractionation/ Colum chromatography/ preparative/SPE/Liquid-liquid extractions
      • Hands on experience and analytical capability of using modern analytical techniques such as HPL/GC/ HPLC-CAD/FTIR/LC-MS/GC-MS/NMR etc
      • Good interpretation skills of MS data/NMR/FTIR data.
      • Have good experience in searching MS/ NMR data bases for structure interpretation
      • Have experience in interpreting the protein/peptide/amino-acid sequence
      • Have rich industry experience in handling similar projects in same profile
    Industry to be explored
    • Natural remedies/Samy Labs/Dabur, Research institutes such as CDRI/ NBRI and other institutes dealing with natural product chemistry
    • Surfactant such as galaxy, Clariant and other similar industry
    Educational qualification
    • MSC. With 5-10 years of above specified experience
