Job Description

:Job Title: Sr. Scientist Nbr of direct subordinates: NoKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Be a part of Global Research and Technology Centre
  • Expertise in chemical characterization of Surfactant, Silicones, Polymers, and its formulation
  • Should have strong knowledge of Advance Analytical techniques and Expertise in operation and interpretation of GC-MS/MS, Pyrolyzer, NMR (1H-, 13C- & 31P), FTIR, SEM /TEM, DSC, TGA etc.
  • Expertise in analyzing the surface structure, physical and chemical properties of different textile material, like cotton, polyester, polyamide, wool, viscose etc. by using various analytical technique
  • Collaboratively work with global experts for transfer the know-how
  • Advantage, if having knowledge to use the different chemical libraries to correlate the structure as well to build in-house library for R&T products and their correlation with physical properties
  • Responsible to work with stakeholders / customer resolving the technical challenges and issues within stipulated time
  • Responsible to perform calibration, maintenance, and operation of Instrumentation and follow good documentation practice
  • Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Accountable to independently deliver the analytical projects, analytical support as per agreed timelines
  • Adhere with organization Safety and EHS practices
  • Flexible and volunteering to work on different problems / tasks and seek new challenges
  • Ability to work with teams consisting of personnel with diverse background
KEY REQUIREMENTSEducation: Ph.D., M.Sc.ExperiencePh.D., 4 year relevant experience (Post Ph.D. experience)M.Sc., 8 year relevant experiencePreferably from Chemical, Polymer, Agrochemical research laboratoriesKnow-how/skills:
  • Languages: English
  • Perfect in using MS Office
  • Ability to travel for training and support
  • Focus on priorities and deliver lab work on time
