Job Description

Dear Candidate,Were Hiring forSenior Software EngineerRoles & Responsibilities :As a Senior Software Engineer you will be part of a motivated engineering team that is responsible to build and enhance PayNet services. This opening is your chance to work in the rapidly expanding field of Finance Technology and computer security, in a Private company with excellent customer ratings and outstanding growth rates.This senior role is focused on building and maintaining core components of PayNet Powered services. A Senior Software Engineer is responsible for defining and developing services and components in a consistent and dependable manner. The position includes close collaboration with Product Manager and other team leads to ensure consistent, well-documented design of all system components.The candidate needs to be able to work independently and solve complex engineering problems. Successful candidates need strong prior experience developing core applications with PHP, MySQL, HTTP with passion for API design & REST.Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features using PHP, MySQL etc.
  • Deliver new features and improvements in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing engineering team.
  • Work closely with product marketing and cross-functional groups to develop product requirements.
  • Research new technologies and incorporate their usage into new products or services.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of proven experience in delivering large scale critical systems.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in developing APIs and API contracts.
  • Experience in object-oriented PHP programming, SQL, relational databases, object-relational mapping, XML, REST.
  • Strong background in HTTP, networking, and security.
  • MySQL or other RDBMS (schema design, SQL queries, tables, views, etc).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to work on Unix/Linux as a primary platform.
Bonus Points:Development experience with Java technologies.Experience with Laravel, Liquibase, Kafka and/or similar technologies/frameworksCloud-based software / multi-tenant applications.Web security and secure coding practices.Regards,Team HR
