The candidate will be responsible for the performing core role in installation, configuration, maintenance and support of all versions of Windows Operating Systems, Messaging and Virtualization platforms including Enterprise level support on monitoring, antivirus, content filtering, system patching, automation, etc.Reporting into the Intel Services Technical Manager/Technical Team Leader.Key accountabilitiesTo lead, mentor and develop Intel team in Mumbai supporting a global Windows based estate.To ensure that Server and Infrastructure incidents are resolved within specified SLA s, liaising with other support teams and 3rd parties where appropriate.To ensure that appropriate escalation procedures are followedTo ensure that necessary team documents created and maintained.Suggest amendments to routing checks, automate the process for correct and effecting results and follow up toward resolving reported gapsTo ensure that any enhancement and project work is delivered to the agreed scope and timescale and within agreed budgets.To comply with departmental policies and standards (Change control, Problem management and security standards)To adhere to all compliancy, audit and corporate policies. (e.g. Health and Safety)Experience and personal qualitiesEssential SkillsExcellent communicator, written and verbal.Expert in troubleshooting skills up to 3rd level support. (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, FTP/SFTP, SMTP, etc.)Full understanding of the Concepts in Managing Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Web servers and Messaging installations in a Global Multi Domain Forest.Windows Operating Systems support up to Windows 2012.Messaging Systems including Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013In-depth experience of VMware virtualisation including network and resource configuration, template creation and troubleshooting. Knowledge on other VMware Enterprise solutions like SRM will be added advantage.Understanding of Storage solutions including SAN and NASUnderstanding of Backup methods and technologiesExperience in managing Enterprise Level antivirus and content filtering solutionsUnderstanding of system update/patching tools such as WSUS or any third party toolProfessional Certification and Accreditation, such as MCT IP and VCPGraduate or higher,
