• Working very closely with Cloud teams to deploy and maintain security solutions.
• Support the SCB cloud strategy to ensure security and compliance is baked in from day one.
• Accountable and responsible to ensure cloud security solutions cover all requirements from a controls/standards perspective and align with overall service level architecture.
• Responsibility for the product life cycle including developing and maintaining roadmaps.
• Communicate roadmap and technical capabilities to stakeholders.
• Assess current and emerging technologies and industry trends (Cloud Security) to inform potential platform strategies.
• Define product features in conjunction with the stakeholders and ensure it s tuned to the bank standards.
• Be a decision maker who drives projects to a successful completion.
• Draws the product architecture.
• Participate in architecture discussions to work through risk, security and compliance concerns.
• Facilitate, oversee and approve the architecture evolution of the product
• Discuss and agree on configuration compliance plans with product owners for approved infrastructure components
• Track compliance status and report on the state of security compliance to management
• Provide advise on the secure configuration of cloud services.
• Provide technical advice and support on security remediation to infrastructure support teams
• Demonstrates the required ethos for continuous security service improvement.
• Be a team player & lead creative initiatives to enhance the capability of the overall Cloud Infrastructure service
• To ensure that existing and new systems conform to SC security policies standards including any relevant regulatory requirements
• To maintain an expert knowledge within the team of technology and industry trends in relation to business requirements, and the direction of the Group.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Strong knowledge and experience with AWS and Azure
• Cloud security and a good understanding of DevSecOps principles
• Good working knowledge in:
  • Vulnerability Scanning solutions like Qualys, RAPID7, Nessus, etc.
  • Configuration & Continuous integration tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar
  • Scripting Skills and other IaC tools (Python, Terraform, Helm plus others)
• Strong knowledge of major cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and standard methods.
• Very good experience operating and integrating cloud security native capabilities (AWS and Azure)
• Familiar with the implementation of security standards in highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Security Workload Protection (CSWP) solutions.
• Ability to understand and contribute hands-on to long-term and operational cloud security decisions
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures and infrastructure security controls in cloud and container environments
• Experience with internal risk assessments, audits and governance
• Experience with Security and Compliance, candidate must have strong experience understanding bank compliance requirements
• Experience architecting cloud solutions in enterprise environments;
• Familiarity with well-known industry security standards and frameworks such as CIS, NIST, GDPR, OWASP, ISO 27001
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure security and compliance is a must
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills, capable to translate technical requirements into business requirements.
• Experience supporting security in a DevOps environment.
• Fundamental skills of Task prioritization, Time management, Customer focus
• Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder expectations
• Able to identify and explain challenges to both technical and not technical people
• Excellent oral/written communication skills for articulating thoughts clearly with stakeholders ranging from engineers to senior business management
• Team player but technically autonomous and work independently.
• Familiar with compliance as code technologies and automation
