MS Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office. Position Description Individual will be responsible for helping driving the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Service Automation Strategy. This includes opportunity identification by working heavily with SRE teams, requirements / authoring of stories in Jira, solution engineering, automation development, implementation of automation capabilities, providing playbook support in some instances, work with various partner teams and SREs to solicit Agile feedback (CSI Opportunities and product improvement), and finally a heavy focus on performance metrics to ensure our priorities are aligned and capabilities are based on value.Working with both horizontal and vertical teams, partnering within many different areas including: SREs, CommandCenter / L1, Development Teams, Integration Engineering, Monitoring Teams, Inc Mgmt, Prob Mgmt, IAM, Architecture / System Engineering . Along with various Vendor teams.Work closely with various Stakeholders, conducting TableTop Discussions, performing Value Analysis to help define new opportunities and proposed automation solutions. Identify and drive the right balance between automated workflow and efficiency gains, continually pushing to achieve higher levels of Stability.Help Drive an Automation Strategy, which will transition WM Service Operations to a more Proactive Service Automation Model. As a corner stone of our automation program, the Virtual Engineer will continue to take on a growing role as we work toward our target state support goals and onboard new automation capabilities.
