Job Description

IntroductionSystem Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data.Your Role and Responsibilities As Servicenow Specialist, you are responsible for core system configuration. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements. Developing workflow customizations and supporting the Service transformation teams. You are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.   • Adopt the given technology to meet the drift of customer and business requirements.
  • Restoration of file/library/object/source member.
  • Integration of disparate systems using SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Mid-Server Configuration (to facilitate REST calls); CMDB configuration and integration.
  • Service portal configuration.
  • Perform regular health check of the system and report periodically.
  • Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes.
  • Custom Application Development.
  • Client Side and ServerSide Scripting
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Servicenow environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of UI design and UI programming skills.
  • Hands-on in Reporting and Performance Analytics.
  • Experience with release/version upgrades including scheduling cloning and migration of data from instances with ServiceNow.
  • Solid understanding and experience in working with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog).
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL)
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies.
  • Good to have CMDB Knowledge and domain Separation Knowledge.
  • Servicenow Admin Certification and Servicenow Implementation Certification.
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
