Job Description

Role Description: SOC Consultant must have experience in a customer-facing technical field such as professional services, sales engineering, or technical support.

  • Must Have Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Presentation Skills and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Good To Have Skills: Security Strategy Risk and Compliance, IAM, SOC Operations, Application and Data, Infrastructure Endpoint and Mobile Security.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Engage with new and existing enterprise customers as a SOC expert.
    • Implementation activities include activation of API s, configuration, and assisting customers to integrate Proofpoint into their SOC workflow.
    • Assist customer in reviewing, and updating their business processes based on the introduction of Proofpoint into their environment.
    • Collaborate with customer teams to pull Proofpoint data feeds into SIEM solutions of the customer s choice.
    • Coordinate the development of reports from the SIEM, NIDS, and HIDS.
    • Train customers to generate queries and create reports on Proofpoint data from their SIEM products.
    • Assist customers in using data from Proofpoint s Solutions to update their SOC Workflow.
    • IDS monitoring and analysis, network traffic and log analysis, prioritization and differentiation between potential intrusion attempts, determination of false alarms, insider threat and APT detection, and malware analysis/forensics.
    • Deliver training to customers and partners.
    • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Advocate for and represent customer needs and trends to the Marketing and Engineering teams to improve the product and ensure that Proofpoint integration engagements are successful.
    • Coordinate with multiple parties internal departments as well as the customer to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution to technical issues, and completion of projects.

  • Professional Attributes:

    • Deep technical experience with at least one enterprise SIEM solution.
    • Experience in large systems design and project implementation for enterprise email environments.
    • Broad technical knowledge of Internet products and technologies.

  • Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech (Computers), B.Sc CS/IT, BCA, M.Sc. CS/ IT, M.E./ M.Tech (Computers).

  • Additional Information: Should be willing to travel domestic International location, must have a valid passport.
