As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. Role Description: Develop connectivity applications for electronic trading with heavy emphasis on low-latency. The JISU team in Electronic Trading Technology is looking for a junior ultra-low-latency connectivity developer. The ideal candidate should have exceptionally strong programming skills in C++, and possess a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, operating systems, networks, and hardware. We are a global team with developers in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Our team has developed in-house low-latency connectivity applications that are both client and exchange facing. We are looking to improve our application latency, make our applications more resilient and supportable, as we expand into markets for other asset classes.Must-haves:
  • Strong C++
  • Linux/Unix
  • TCP/IP socket programming skills
  • Object-oriented programming skills
Desired:
  • FIX ( www.fixprotocol.org )
  • Equities, Futures, and Options Exchange Connectivity experience
  • Kernel tuning and low-level system programming!
  • Concurrent data structures
