Job Description

Roles and responsibilities -

  • Work with the Product Management team to understand, clarify, and shape requirements, and to translate these into technical requirements used to design the product
  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Continuou sly discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Key Skills -
  • Experience in designing and building applications for iOS platform
  • A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
  • Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
  • Be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
  • Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new ideas
  • Experience with third party libraries and APIs
  • Unit testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
  • Good to have: Published at least one iOS app in the App Store
