Job Description

    • Understanding and developing business requirements
    • Understanding existing program logic and business flows
    • Providing or agreeing estimates for development work
    • Creation of detailed design specifications
    • Coding of new programs and changes to existing programs,creation and execution of test plans and scripts (Unit / Functional)
    • Creation of implementation/backout plans, Implementing production releases
    • Supporting audit and risk & controls processes
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
    • Have application development experience in a mainframe environment including coding using COBOL, ADABAS/Natural
    • Have experience working with JCL, CICS, VSAM and IBM MQ
    • Have proven experience supporting production systems and investigating and resolving complex technical issues
    • Have experience working in an agile team within a large organisation and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve your goal
    • Be technically minded and intellectually curious, with a desire to develop a deep understanding of our applications, technology, and the business that we support
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
    • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
    • Exposure to cloud technologies
